All Set!

I've spent all day meticulously packing things into bags and then packing those bags into the ute - yes, a spreadsheet system was used - and I'm all set to leave Friday morning. I think I'll leave about 5am, beat the morning traffic and get to Broken Hill early enough to have a sticky beak while everything's still open.

I tasked my guy with prepping the Hilux over the weekend and while I appreciate him replacing the interior lighting system I rigged up with something bigger and prettier, I'm not sure the television he installed is necessary. I'd really rather not be one of those people in a caravan park.

Nevertheless, I'm very excited for this trip. I've never been further south in Queensland than Rockhampton and my guy's never been anywhere on our itinerary other than Sydney and Melbourne, so I think we'll both get something out of this.
